It was fun to look at other people's answers and how they would interact with the countries of their descent. Some of the mixes were quite interesting. As for me, I'm Japanese and...that's it.

It would have been kind of boring to just have us standing around, so I used a reference from a page of Urusei Yatsura for the pose. Japan and I turned out pretty close, but when it came time to draw America, using the same pose wouldn't work, so I was on my own for him. Hence why he looks a bit less natural.

Culturally, I feel closer to Japan/Kiku, and I'm more like him in terms of personality. But I have some traits from both of these guys.

To be truthful, I don't consider myself purely either of the two. I also have some aspects of local Hawai'i culture in me.

Hopefully some more people will fill out this meme. Who knows? Maybe if you ask your family, you may learn something new about your background.
